Thank you for looking at my website. Here at Lily’s Childcare I provide a high quality childminding service in a safe, secure and friendly home-from-home setting. I live with my husband of 29 years and our two boys, Jeremy and Alexander.

My childcare setting is based around family life and values that give children a secure place to develop and flourish. With reassuring high standards of care and excellent facilities, I can provide you with the confidence that will put your mind at ease.

Indoors I have a large, bright living room as well as a dedicated playroom with a reading corner, arts and crafts table, large white board, many different toys and resources. I also have a good sized, child friendly, safe garden with trampoline, variety of ride-on and push-along cars, play house, large water and sand table, etc. We also have 2 very friendly lop eared rabbits which children love watching, feeding, playing and cuddling.

We like to visit play groups, librarys and soft play areas. I have national trust membership and we regularly visit different grounds. We love music classes, the local play cafe and farm, and we also go fruit & veg picking in summer. We also live very close to the nature reserve and we make most of the learning experiences on our door step too.

We have 2 Shih Tzu dogs and a cockatiel bird called lily which all the children adore.

Since registering as a childminder I have taken various courses to further my knowledge of childcare including paediatric first aid and basic food hygiene. I regularly attend specialist safeguarding courses to keep up-to-date. My husband, my boys and I all have advanced DBS certificates. I hold a full public liability insurance and a full/clean UK drivers licence.

I use Baby's Days - an amazing online software system allowing Childminders to complete all areas of the EYFS quickly and efficiently.
